The green classroom

The Green Classroom has 2 parts of service:

• A Webpage & Email for the Classroom Teachers (editable by the teacher)
• An Email system for School Staff/Admin/PTA to communicate with parents

Why the Green Classroom makes sense?

• The school saves expense on paper and ink
• Both parents can access the information anytime online.
• The email recipients cannot see the other recipients email Id’s. Parents are very sensitive about spam and sharing their email id’s (rightfully so…we all get our share of chain letters); this helps parents to safely share their email id’s with the school without fear.
• The school can send an email quickly in case of an emergency to the entire school or by grade levels
• It is environmentally a better choice.

The Webpage:

The Green Classroom is a linked to the School's website. This makes it convenient for a parent. The parents visit the School's website and they can view the classroom page of their choice. Think of it as a FLYER the classroom teacher is sending home, and instead of using the copy machine he/she will be using your computer from school, home or anywhere to POST a message.

The webpage features:

Posts or Messages from the classroom teachers that can be added daily

Documents uploaded by the classroom teacher (in any format like :.pdf, doc, .xls etc.) that may have: homework assignments, spelling lists, a field trip waiver form etc.)

The Email System:

This email system has these features:

• Classroom teachers can send an email to the Parents of their students
• Classroom teachers can easily edit email addresses
• School Staff/Admin/PTA can send a school wide email with an attachments (e.g.: monthly newsletter)
• School Staff/Admin/PTA can send an email by grade level or activities (e.g.: drama club, SAS Program etc.)

COST:

The Green Classroom is FREE of cost for clients using the Computerwisekids Curriculum. If your institution does not have a contract with Computerwisekids, please review the price list below.
